ABOUT

Sixteen years and two generations of dogs

For sixteen years, Charlotte Marcelino has been sharing her life with her dogs and sliding with them on the back of the sled. She will lead you on trails at the foot of the Oldenhorn or the Matterhorn, but she has also experienced other trails in the Swiss and French massifs.

This is her second generation of dogs, which she leads with the strength of her experience and background; each dog has its own needs, and each relationship is unique. But they are all driven by the same pleasure: running in the snow.

A close-knit pack, a united family

The pack is made up of Alaskan Malamutes and Siberian Huskies. It includes four puppies from a litter, but most of the dogs are sterilized, as we don't breed. The malamutes come from the same Swedish lineage.

Depending on their age, puppies spend a few weeks at home before moving to the kennels. In this way, they learn to live in a pack and find their place in the hierarchy, before starting to run. There, they'll discover the best place for them in the team.
